Dr. Rick N. Hattori OD
Dr. Rick Hattori graduated from the University of California Berkeley School of Optometry in 1970. He was drafted by the US NAVY and served as a Lieutenant at Oak Noll Hospital in Oakland, California, until 1973. After completing his service in the NAVY, Dr. Hattori moved to Monterey, with his wife, Dr. Ellie Hattori, in 1973, where they opened their practice at 464 Pacific Street. The practice adopted the name of Hattori Vision Optometry in 1987 and moved to its current location at 757 Pacific Street.
Dr. Hattori practices general optometry, and is certified in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease. Dr. Hattori is also a member of the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association.
Away from the office, Dr. Hattori has proudly sponsored the Monterey and Seaside Pony Baseball/Softball teams for over a decade, and continues to do so.
Dr. Ellie W. Hattori OD
Dr. Ellie Hattori graduated from the University of California Berkeley School of Optometry in 1970. After graduating, Dr. Ellie practiced at Kaiser Permanente in Sacramento for one year, and then took some time off to raise her two children, Jenny and Tommy. Once her children were grown, Dr. Ellie began practicing again in 1985.
Dr. Hattori has limited her practice to recommending and fitting contact lenses. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association, and the Contact Lens Section of the American Optometric Association. Dr. Ellie also speaks Cantonese. In her spare time, Dr. Hattori enjoys spending time with her family, scrapbooking, stamping and baking.
Dr. Telma Barseghian OD
Dr. Telma Barseghian graduated from the University of California Berkeley School of Optometry in 1994. Dr. Barseghian practices general optometry and is certified in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association. Dr. Barseghian also speaks both Persian and Armenian.
Dr. Barseghian enjoys spending time with her husband, Adam, and her two beautiful girls, Hannah and Jacqueline.
Dr. Elizabeth Anderson OD
Dr. Elizabeth Anderson graduated from the University of California Berkeley School of Optometry in 1992. Dr. Anderson practices general optometry and is certified in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association.
Dr. Trevor K. Fogg OD
Dr. Trevor Fogg graduated from the University of California Berkeley School of Optometry in 2007. Dr. Fogg practices full scope optometry and is certified in Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT) as well as the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease. At Cal he incorporated his passion for athletics by helping design a Sports Vision program which worked closely with the Cal baseball team. Dr. Fogg is a member of the American Optometric Association, it's Contact Lens & Cornea section, Sports Vision section and the California Optometric Association.
He is very excited to have returned to his hometown of the Monterey Peninsula with his wonderful wife Erin and their son Rowan.
